ABOUT FITZMAURICE VOICEWORK®:
Fitzmaurice Voicework® is a whole-body approach to voice training that helps you communicate your thoughts, intentions, and feelings with a free, flexible, and potent voice. The work increases freedom of breath, presence, resonance, power, spontaneity and emotional connection – the full range of humanity that can be expressed in the voice.

This workshop is for performers, professional speakers, teachers of performers and anyone interested in developing their voice. The work will help you to:

- increase vocal ease, flexibility and health
- awaken true spontaneity
- enhance presence through relaxed energization
- deepen emotional availability
- transform nervousness into vibrancy

MORE ABOUT FITZMAURICE VOICEWORK®:
This work combines classical voice-training techniques with adaptations of yoga, shiatsu, Reichian bodywork, and other body-based/meditative practices,

The work has three parts:
Destructuring: Release the freedom and spontaneity of the natural voice by loosening chronic muscular tensions and undoing vocal habits

Structuring: Increase power, focus and control by relearning the animal vocal efficiency we were born with.

Application and Play: Channel the work into full-voiced, healthy communication in text and speech work, singing, dialects, impromptu speaking, public address or voice with movement.

Fitzmaurice Voicework® is taught in the MFA acting programs at Yale and Harvard, as well as NYU Studios, the Moscow Art Theatre School, and many other institutions all over the world.
